Deaconess Margaret Omolabake Adigun was born into the Idowu family on the 3rd of November,1948 . She attended Mount Carmel Convent School Ebute Metta, Oranmiyan Grammar School Ile-Ife and Ife Girls High School. She was happily married to Apostle Kunle Adigun. She was a devout Christian and a resilient prayer warrior, having given her life to Christ in 1985. She rendered her service to God by committing herself wholly but silently to support her husband in ministry. She was an incredible wife, a virtuous woman and a wonderful mother. She touched many lives and inspired everyone that God brought across her path during her lifetime. She is blessed with many children, both physical and spiritual. Sweet mum even though you are gone, your sweet memories and legacies will forever be cherished. l am honoured and privileged to have been your daughter and I am sure all your children are proud of you. You came, you saw and you conquered. Sleep on mum, till the resurrection morning. Busola Abiodun

IDOWU FAMILY TRIBUTE Mrs Labake Adigun( née Idowu) was one of the grandchildren of Pa Michael Olaosebikan Idowu & Mrs Zenobia Idowu( née Quimbra of Brazilian descent). Pa Idowu was an extremely successful businessman, popularly known on Wakeman St, yaba( now Borno way) as ‘Baba oni Kiniun’ because of the statue of a Lion erected on his balcony! Very unusual in those days. Her formative years were spent with her grandparents once her father, Papas first son, left for England to study. From childhood, cousin Labake learnt gentleness & thoughtfulness from her grandmother. She was ever smiling & ready to help with any chore, including looking after her younger cousins when they came around. These characteristics made her well loved by all her cousins with whom she interacted very freely. Even though her home was in Abeokuta with her beloved husband & children, & where she had important duties as a pastors wife & deaconess, she was always ready to celebrate with her cousins when she could. Of particular note is her attendance at the wedding of Cousin Gbolahan’s son in USA in 2017. She travelled from Nigeria in company of Mrs Yinka Salako, Gbolahan’s older sister. She also spent quality time with her younger aunt Prof Mrs Tayo Popoola who also resides in Abeokuta. The family received the news of her death with great shock & sadness but bow to the almighty will of God. Cousin Labake leaves behind 3 younger siblings & a host of cousins in the Idowu family spread all over the world. She will be greatly missed. May her gentle soul find rest with her creator. Amen. Mummy as we all fondly call her and that's just who she was. I remember her gentleness and humility. She never cease to amaze me, the way this daughter of zion comports herself in every situation at least as far as I know is worthy of emulation. She had one of the hardest job on earth, being the wife of a servant of God. I don't know how she was able to accommodate us all. She was a true mother in Israel, always have something to share when you ask and even when you refuse to ask and she perceives the need. Mummy went as far as allowing me to keep a poultry in her compound just to make ends meet. She was one of the few members of the prayer group when I joined the ministry and that was more of a school of prayer and a War zone at the time. I learnt to take my spiritual journey and my family more seriously because of her likes. There is so much to say about her, her submission, love and dedication towards my general overseer and the Friends of the bridegroom international ministry was unquestionable. Even as my family, the church and the ministry at large mourn your loss, we celebrate the life you live. Only eternity will reveal how much you have impacted my life, my family and ministry. Adieu, till we meet to part no more at the feet of our saviour.
