Sweet mum even though you are gone, your sweet memories and legacies will forever be cherished. l am honoured and privileged to have been your daughter and I am sure all your children are proud of you. You came, you saw and you conquered. Sleep on mum, till the resurrection morning. Busola Abiodun

My association with Maggie was over55 years. I knew her when she was girlfriend to Kunle at the time the Adigun family lived at Denton Street in Ebute Meta, the mainland of Lagos. I moved out of Lagos in 1964 after leaving Baptist Academy and returned in 1971 after graduating from U.I to seek employment in Lagos. The period of my absence from Lagos did not severe the relationship between Kunle and myself, and it was on a visit to Denton Street that led me to meet Maggie when she was expecting her first child for Kunle. Maggie was at the C & S church at Okesuna, Lagos where she was taken care of by Captain Abiodun Emanuel who was the founder and head of the church. It is to be noted also that Kunle too was a student at U.I in 1971. It was a chance meeting for me to meet Captain Abiodun's daughter who eventually became my wife. The important thing to note was that Maggie became the contact point between Sede( the name of Captain Abiodun's daughter) and myself. Maggie in fact made Sede's visit to my place possible by escorting and leaving her with me. Over a long period of time and especially when I left Nigeria in 2005, we were not communicating until 2009 that I met Bro Kunle Adigun who visited London on what I would call Christian missionary journey. Maggie's life story is exemplified in Kunle's journey. She persevered, stood her ground in the turbulent times and days and she overcame the odds many as they were. I celebrate Maggie and I would say to Kunle "may you rejoice in the wife of your youth" Proverbs 5 : 18 May her soul find rest in her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ that she served devotedly like her husband Bro Kunle Adigun.
