Mummy. It’s like yesterday and those beautiful memories of yours are still there. You were a quiet woman who seldom talk. We were like sisters and we sometimes share our differences. Your joy was Jesus, your husband and your children. We have laughed, fasted and prayed together severally and many times you’ve shared your burdens with me. Hmmm. Inspite of all the odds you were submissive to your husband till end. You fought through the sickness and health challenges yet at death, chains and fetters were broken off you. The Saviour who knew the depth of your pains chose to take you home. Those who saw you a day before your passing spoke about your freshness and the joy that was on your face. And now the joy of being with your Saviour is all that matters with you now. I know that eternity will speak volumes.
