For almost 4 years at Elsevier we have come to know Victor as a dedicated member of the team where he made a tremendous contribution toward establishing the Funding Domain. With his wealth of knowledge and expertise he has paved the way for transitioning towards our current Data Platform approach while leveraging our historical learnings and approach. With a focused stubborn passion he was committed to getting the best results and contributed to the team to achieve the highest outcome possible. Victor had a wealth of experience and was a great person for advice and a highly esteemed team member of the Hydra team. Beneath his stern Russian front lay a wonderful guy with a great sense of humor, breaking a smile with him always felt like a victory. His contributions will be sorely missed.
