About Remembr.
What is Remembr.?
Remembr. is an online platform that allows you to create a personal memorial page for a loved one who has passed away. Family, friends and other loved ones can share photos, stories, memories and messages of condolence in one place.
Who is Remembr. for?
Remembr. is for anyone who wishes to honour and remember a loved one who has passed away. Memorial pages can be created by family members, friends, acquaintances or anyone looking to create a lasting place to preserve and share memories.
How does a memorial page work?
A memorial page is created by entering the details of the deceased and adding a photo, personal story and other information. Family, friends and acquaintances can then be invited to contribute memories, photos and messages of condolence.
Who can add memories to a memorial page?
Family members, friends and other acquaintances can add memories, photos and messages of condolence to a memorial page. The available options may depend on the settings chosen by the page administrator.
What happens if Remembr. closes?
Remembr.’s intention is to continue operating the platform and keeping memorial pages available for the long term. Should Remembr. unexpectedly discontinue its services, users will be informed in advance. Users of the Forever product will receive at least six months' notice, unless this is not reasonably possible. In that situation, Remembr. will make reasonable efforts to provide a download or export option so that users can retain their memorial page and its content.
Can I download my page and memories?
At this time, Remembr. does not offer the ability to download or export a memorial page or the memories shared on it.
How does Remembr. handle privacy?
Remembr. processes personal data carefully and in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Personal data is only used for providing and improving the service. More information about how personal data is processed can be found in the Remembr. Privacy Policy.
What is the difference between a public and a private page?
A public page can be viewed by anyone. It can also be found through the search field on Remembr., so family and friends who do not have the address can still find the page. A private page is closed off. Only you and the people you invite can reach it. Each of them receives their own personal link by email. Someone who knows the web address but has no link cannot get in. You invite people when you create the page, and later you can add someone or withdraw their access on the edit page.

What is the difference between Free, Per Year and Forever?
Free allows you to publish a memorial page free of charge for 7 days. Per Year is a paid product that keeps a memorial page published online for one year. After that period, publication can be continued for another year. Forever is a one time paid product that keeps a memorial page available for as long as Remembr. actively operates the platform.
What does Forever mean?
Forever means that a memorial page will remain available for as long as Remembr. actively operates the platform. It is a one time payment with no recurring fees. For more than 10 years, Remembr. has helped people preserve and share memories. We intend to continue doing so well into the distant future.
What happens if I do not continue Per Year?
If a Per Year page is not continued, the page will be taken offline. The page administrator will retain access to the page and its content, but it will no longer be visible to visitors.
What happens when the 7 day Free period ends?
When the 7 day Free period ends, the memorial page will be taken offline if no paid product is selected. The page remains visible and manageable by the administrator, but it will no longer be accessible to other visitors. You can choose Per Year or Forever at any time to make the page available online again.
