Trent "TJ" Jackson

I only knew TJ for a short time just over six months. From the first time I met him I was impressed with his kind disposition. After becoming a Beyond Meat Employee I saw TJ daily and he was always the same kind happy person. One thing I could tell was he enjoyed his walks with Ziggy. He will be missed by his work family.

TJ’s passing has been very difficult news to process. My deepest condolences go out to his family and everyone who was close to him. He was the kindest spirit. I will truly miss his warm welcome first thing in the morning when I arrive at the office and he was often the last person to wish me a good night as I left for the day. I’ll always have particularly fond memories of the time we celebrated TJ’s birthday in the office. We surprised him in the conference room and he was visibly emotional - I think he sensed how much we appreciate him and how he was truly a part of the Beyond Meat family. He will be deeply missed by all of us. May he Rest In Peace.

My most sincere condolences to the family of our dear TJ. I will miss our chats in the kitchen where we shared funny stories about our day but above all, his sweet disposition and daily greeting of 'Good Mornin' Ms. Laura, let me get that for you'. He was a part of our family as well and he will be deeply missed.

This is a heartbreaking loss for all who was fortunate to meet TJ. My heart goes out to all grieving family and friends. TJ greeted me every morning at the door, with a warm greeting and excitement to see me and start his day. We were usually the first people arriving in the morning. We would chat about our weekends and talk about the weather. TJ always asked me about my dogs, by their names, and was genuinely interested in their well being, as if they were his own. My fondest memory is when 119 crew threw him a surprise party in the downstairs conference room for his birthday. He was so touched by our efforts to express how special he was, he was emotional in his thank you speech to us all. Beyond Meat meant so much to TJ. He cared for us all, and for all the animals that came into Beyond Meat. The loss is profound and I know my morning greeting at 119 will never be the same.

This is such a sad moment for all of us here at BYND. TJ was always so positive, always with a smile and a polite hello. I have so many nice memories of him, how he might see me drive in with a full parking lot and try to find me a space or, if I left early ask if he could save my spot. However my absolute favorite was the surprise birthday party Melissa arrange for him with the entire office waiting in the conference room to greet him. TJ broke down in tears that day and really showed his human side and how much he appreciated even the small niceties in life. It was truly a pleasure to work with TJ and I am going to miss his friendly greeting each morning and evening. Too soon! Chuck

For a lot of people the thought of getting up and driving to work each morning can be somewhat tedious or unappealing. I believe I speak for everyone at our office when I say that wasn't the case at Beyond Meat and so much of that is because of the love we received each day from TJ. To start each day with a simple smile, hello, and brief conversation, it was a true testament to who he is as a person and how much of an impact he has had on this entire company. There won't be a day that I walk in and don't think of TJ and just hope that you all know how much he was loved by our entire office.

TJ was always so sweet. He was always so positive and bright and had such a sweet soul. We joked and laughed about random stuff all the time. He loved his Mocha Mint frappucinos :). He will be terribly missed. The loss of him his heartbreaking.

First time I met TJ I was picking up samples at 1325. I was greeted with his infectious smile that instantly brightened my day!! TJ would always make it a point going out of his way to make sure my car was right in front waiting for me when I was leaving. Such a sweet gesture! TJ had such a genuine caring soul that I am going to miss.
