(I remember when you were upset that your children didn’t want you to travel all the way to Abuja for Franklins wedding and you insisted)Lol. I recall your epic dance steps at the wedding..you were always joyful.Keep resting Sir.

Farewell Uncle Simeon. I have fond memories of you from the time my sister and I spent in Nsukka while we attended secondary school. One thing was certain, you loved God and you loved your family. As painful as your exit is, we are grateful to God for a life well lived. We love you and miss you.

We write this tribute with a heart full of pains, but with gratitude and total submission to the will of Almighty God for a life well spent in the Lord. The journey of life is very long especially, for one to have lived above 4 scores. However, the human mind is not designed to comprehensibly trace the locus of our earthly existence and accurately measure and have a firm grasp of our length of days here on earth, otherwise one would have no need weeping. As we write this tribute in your memory, we remember and have a clear mental picture of all the good days we spent together in Papa and Mama Eleazer Nwigwe’s house in Umunchi. We recollect your polished way of talking and expressing yourself, your sense of rationality and discipline. All these invoke good memories. You have transited to a better place to be with The Lord. I remember Uncle Simeon for his warm and kind nature. I also fondly remember his infectious laughter. He was always welcoming and brought much joy and happiness into our family gatherings at Umuaga. I will always cherish these memories
