Sam Fitzsimmons

I have only recently heard that Sam had passed away at the start of this year. It has taken me days to think what to write, as it was such a shock and so upsetting. As someone else said, I have not stopped thinking about Sam and her beautiful family. I pray for her enternal rest and that her family may be comforted at this very difficult and tragic time. Thinking of Sam's family, especially Erin and Liam Xx rest in peace beautiful Sam.

In loving memory of our dear friend Sam, a truly special lady taken from us too soon, leaving a void in the lives of all who knew her. Here is a beautiful poem written by Johnny Hathcock which we believe Sam would have loved (as we all know how important words were to her): "I do not think my song will end while flowers, grass and trees abound with birds and butterflies for I am at one with these. and I believe my voice will sound upon the whispering wind so long as even one remains among those that I call friend. I shall remain in hearts and minds of loved ones that I knew and in the valleys, hills and streams because I love those, too. so long as love and hope and dreams abide in earth and sky, weep not for me, though I be gone. I shall not really die."

I am so sorry for your loss. Sam was a truly kind and caring person who made a real difference in my life. She supported me, encouraged me, and was always there when I needed help. I was shocked to hear of Sam's passing. We use to work together and she always had a smile on her face and made the day better. Sam was a very caring person and was always there for other. My thoughts are with Sam's family. Rip Sam

I’ve known Sam for about 35 years. She was our neighbour all that time ago and loved our 2 children Sean and Catherine. She was indeed a wonderful and talented human being. I really am speechless… RIP lovely lady.. Love and respect to all the family..

Today although I am feeling sad I will never forget you who took the time to speak to me, give me a good hug when I needed it , I was always blown away with your acting and singing ability. Sometimes we may not have acted together but you still checked on me on social media, and will never forget that.

I am absolutely devastated to hear they news today. Cannot believe what I am reading. Sam was a wonderful person, always made me smile and always made me laugh. We worked together in Louth for a relatively short time but at hit it off instantly. We lost touch but found each other again via a mutual friend in Worksop and we have been in touch ever since, exchanging messages every now and again and playing word games online. In fact, only as recently as Sunday. And I persuaded her to let me have her mums Christmas cake recipe, which I have been using for the last five years and will continue to for years to come. So grateful to have met a beautiful lady and heartbroken she has left us so soon. All I can think about are the devastation her wonderful family will be feeling. My thoughts and prayers are with you all
