Robert, it's over 2 months since you left us. It was my privilege to care for you for the last few years. Words cannot express my gratitude for what you gave me both mentally and spiritually. You were tough to go through all your set backs in life without being depressed. You battled on despite everything. Oh Robert...what a sad day, though the thoughtful ceremony was a delight. We were next door neighbours for 20 years and friends from day one. Your first two weekends in Town House and Town House Cottage were a bit of a celebration and we spent many a night with a drink or two in the gardens.We will miss you at our table on Christmas Day but Mags will be there to raise a glass to you. Robert and I have been friends since junior school through Rastrick Grammar school to now. We have enjoyed similar interests including horse racing.We have shared lots of experiences and his help and advice has always been welcome. I shall miss his humour and writings but remember his attitude to life. Whatever will be will be. My condolences go to his family and Margaret. Rest in peace Robert. Dave Milner

Georgina & Katherine, so sorry for your loss. I worked for your dad, it was my first job after leaving school. He was always smiling and ready to go for a beer! My mum also worked for your Mum & Dad when you lived in Holywell Green. I have very happy memories of you two girls running into the office to see him after school - he adored both of you. He really was a great first boss & I am so sorry for your loss.
