Peter was a husband, son, brother and friend to so many. He passed away from an incurable illness in his hometown London in the presence of his loved ones. Que de bons souvenirs mon cher, personne d’autre a fait ton parcours, du coup personne d’autre pouvait raconter autant d’histoires, avec ton humour, ta sagesse, très souvent à une bonne table pour un bon dîner bien arrosé. Merci Peter

From the moment I started my career Peter was a big presence both as a support with endless advice and, more importantly, as a friend. There was always fun and laughter whenever he was around and there are so many memories. He had the biggest heart and always talked about family and, in the last few years, Chloe and we were all so happy he had found 'the one'. I said to him it is an impressive woman who gets you to commit and he laughed and said, she is. I am so sorry that he has left us all far too early but he definitely lived his life to the full and encouraged us all to do the same. To go to Cannes and not see him walking down the Croisette will be a sad moment, I am not sure what MIPCOM is without VDB but we will all celebrate him in October I am sure (and for years to come). Sending love to all the family, I am so sorry for your loss - he was a very special person and I will miss him greatly. Rest in Peace my lovely friend, I will always be grateful to have had you in my life.

Peter was a wonderful person on and off screen, he did people saving their careers before firing.
