Pamela Beacham

To dear Jenny, Phillip, Mandy, Vicky and Tony Our love and thoughts are with you all at this sad time of Pam passing Pamela was loved by all and will be missed. Her lovely qualities will always be remembered. Her kindness, Nursing skills, devotion to family, her sense of fun and her beaming smile. She will always remain in our hearts. We were lucky to have Pam in our lives, even when on the other side of the world. I will miss her annual Christmas cards and occasional letters. I treasure the memories of her smiles and laughter and just fun when we were in the same place, when she came back to NZ and when we made a visit to the UK. Even when things were going wrong, or when her joints, and my mothers joints, were too stiff to get in and out of cars easily, Pam always managed to have a giggle about it. I can't think of her without seeing her smile, her laughter, and remembering her sense of fun and her kindness.

On those days when you miss someone the most, remember how they loved you. Remember how they loved you and do that for yourself. In their name, in their honour. I knew Pam as an acquaintance for as long as she lived in Bridge, little did I know that we were both nurses, having worked in the same hospital and we became friends, over the last three years or so. We shared many conversations and always finished smiling and with a joke. It was an honour to get to know Pam. Sincerely Jane and Robert.
