Oli Herbert

To one of the greats. We lost u too soon and ur style of playing is one that b instilled n me 4ever. All that remains has been my favorite band since the 1st time I heard two weeks . U will b missed and ATR will never b the same. Hope to c u up there one day my long haired bearded brother.

What a huge loss. My condolences to his family, and friends.

It was a very sad day to find out about Oli's passing. He was an awesome and extremely knowledgeable guitarist and teacher. He was also very down to earth. I randomly met Oli at a park while I was going for a run. I ended up going to say hi to him and we started talking for a bit and I asked him if he still gave guitar lessons and he said yes and gave me his number. I ended up taking a handful of lessons from him (between 1 and 2 hours each) . He was a great teacher and always made you feel like a fellow guitarist and not just some schmuck to take money from. He and Beth were always very hospitable and kind. I had been wanting to go back and take some more lessons, but I always wanted to get my playing better and life gets in the way too so I never got to go back. I am thankful for the little bit I did get to know him and he will be forever missed. He was someone I really looked up to and aspired to be as good as him. His memories and the music he made will live on forever. Shred in peace Oli.

I'm so sorry for this loss. It's like yesterday that I was at their show and I know where he stands on stage so i make sure I'm right in front of him. Last time he gave me his pick at the end of the set and the time before that he allowed a hug and a picture along with hanging with my friends and I are a local bar. Such a free spirited person.

My condolences to Beth and the rest of the family. I loved his music. He had a talented gift that will be missed in the music world. We love you Oli. May you rest in peace and shred the heavens.
