Dad was and still in good memory, a strong, intelligent, dedicated and honest family man. He sacrificed his years doing good for his family, without wanting or expecting anything in return. He set an example for others, through his integrity and loyalty to God and Mum. There wasn’t anything dad wouldn’t do to make our life better. His joyful, positive spirit was remarkable, along with his acceptance of everyone he knew. He was a very dedicated leader, and gave his all in everything he set his heart to do. We were always taken care of very well by him, and we always felt so proud of him, for who he is. Now, he is in the afterlife, we still feel so proud of him, and we marvel about all he was and all he did. Our love for Dad remain strong as the days goes by. He’s still our hero!!............... Yinka’s demise came as a shock to me. I met you at your brother’s Uncle Akin Ajilore when you came to serve in Kano. We all lived together as a family. Our last conversation was about Uncle Akin a few months ago. I’m still grappling with digesting this. What can we say? You came, you saw, you conquered. O death, where is thy sting? Rest on in the bosom of your maker. May the good Lord comfort your loved ones. It is well.
