OLALABI SHAMSIDEEN OJIKUTU

Olalabi Shamsideen Ojikutu was born the 3rd child of Mr. and Mrs. Mutiu Olatunji Ojikutu (Mustatafa Ojikutu branch), in Lagos Island. He began his education at Jinadu primary school, Ikoyi. He subsequently attended Wahab Folawiyo High School on Osborne Road, Ikoyi. His tertiary education began at Lagos State University (LASU), wherehe obtained a B.sc in Political science. He later attended the prestigious University of Lagos, where he obtained an MA in public Administration. He began his employment career with Lagos state where he was posted into the Lagos state Public Service on the 15th September. He served in various administrative roles in different ministries and MDAs like Lagos State Land Bureau, Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Sport Development, Lagos State Sports Commission, Lagos State Public Service Office, Office of the State Surveyor General and the Ministry of Local Government Affairs to mention just a few. He rose from Admin Officer GL 08 to Deputy Director GL 16 and was last posted to the Lagos State Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget on January 6th, 2026 where he served until his demise. He is married to Mrs. Fatimah Bintu Ojikutu. Their marriage has been blessed with Ayomide Daniel Ojikutu, Anjolaoluwa Ojikutu and Adunola Ojikutu. A family oriented man and football lover . May he continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord, Amen.

Oji gbangba like I fondly called you. It's been so hard for me to come to terms with the reality of your demise. You were not just a friend. You were a brother who was ready to go the extra miles. How I wish you were here today to witness testaments of your pure heart, humane, warmth, kindness, support, cheerleading and everything you embodied while you lived. Purposeful I would say . These are enough consolation for me and your loved ones because they are pure acts of humanity. You may be gone, but you are not forgotten Olalabi Ojikutu. Adieu dear friend!
