Late Oladokun Olawuyi was an amiable and easy going, but a sociable and approachable person. Until his death he was an active and committed member of Top Two Five Club, Lagos. He was also a member of Lagos Country Club, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. He belonged to Thursday Group and TGIF Group of Top Two Five Club and Lagos Country Club respectively. He was survived by wife, children and grand children. May his soul rest in peace. Amen

I received the sad news of the unfortunate and unexpected demise of a jolly good fried and a brother from the ancient Ogbomoso land with a big shock and profound devastation. Dokun was an amiable gentleman of honor who was never seen in a bad mood but ever smiling and bobbling. It was however surprising and shocking to hear that through other friends that our own Dokun Olawuyi is no more. Though he has gone to meet his creator at a time we never envisaged but only God knows why the good people are and the wicked are living. Our consolation is that his exemplary life lives on and there is no doubt that the good Lord he worshipped while alive will grant him a peaceful eternal life rest. Sir Yemi Dare

Mr Dokun Olawuyi was a pleasant, quiet and peaceful gentleman. Always smiling and jovial in all situations, a very reliable friend and a dutiful member of our great Top 25 Club. Your departure was so sudden and shocking that words cannot describe our grief on your exit it to immortality. May God grant you eternal peace and rest where there is no pain or sorrow until we meet on the day of resurrection. God will keep and strengthen all the surviving family members and loved ones.

Sun ree, Egbon Dokun Olawuyi. We called ourselves 18/18 whenever we met at the Clubs. People did not know that we were born on the same date, 18th of May. The news of your demise was a rude shock to me, and I had to insist on further confirmation of the news when Uncle Lash broke the sad on news on our group WhatsApp platform. At the end of the day, the news of your demise was sadly confirmed. Erin wo, ajanaku subu, erin ole dide. Odigba egbon Dokun. Ipade di lese Jesu. I will miss you. May your soul rest in peace.
