Your loving wife Mrs McDermott, My dear husband everyday I miss you more and more, my childhood sweetheart. We have been married for 52 years, I'am still to this day lost for words. I have lost a best friend, an amazing husband, a spectacular father and a admirable role model to our grandchildren. You're the best of the best and no one can compare to you, I know that you're gone but I still feel that your right beside me always. I still hear your voice even when no ones speaking, nothing is going to ever be the same. All I ask is that you enjoy your time in the afterlife and watch over all of us and rest in heavenly peace. From the first day we met we made a vow, that we would call each other Dee (and I still have that love letter). May you rest in Gods hands and rest in peace my dear husband.

Noel Mcdermott was not only my grandad but he meant the world to me. If I said I couldn’t do it he would always encourage me that I can. Grandads spirit could lift anyone’s spirit his smile could change anyone’s mood. You were taken too early but you will R.I.E.P and I will always love you❤️

Such sad sad news. Noel, you will be missed so much. Your smile, humour and good nature touched us all in the Lansdowne Building in Croydon. The place has not been the same since you left. RIP my friend.

Ahhhh Carol.... my heart is so heavy. I was always amazed at your parents' youth. How on earth could they look so damn gooooooood. We probably met when we were teenagers, a long time ago but Ioved seeing them in your posts and wanted to know their secret. For sure daddy McD did a fantastic job raising you. My heart is with you and your family my love. Xxxx.

Noel what a lovely man you were. I will always remember the big warm hugs you always gave when we would meet up and than always followed by "yuh alright Ange" follwed by a big smile. May you rest with angels.
