Nick graduated from the University for Development Studies in 2001 with a Bachelor's degree in Integrated Development Studies. He began his career as a Programme Manager for a local food security NGO under the Catholic Church. Later, he pursued further studies as an evening scholar in the UK, worked there for a year, and returned to Ghana in 2008. In 2009, he joined SNV/Netherlands Development Organization as a Health Adviser, a role he held for two years before transitioning to WASH Adviser for another three years. In 2014, he moved to Global Affairs Canada as a Sanitation Adviser for two years. He then worked as a Consultant on WASH Financing for another two years before joining UNICEF in 2019 as a full-time Planning Specialist. His kindness, humility, and dedication towards his work, colleagues, UNICEF, and the children of Ghana will be deeply missed.

Nic was a brother we shared common jokes when we meet each other. I worked with him as a KM focal Person for my section and he was always pleasant to be with.
