Mummy Ayan, as fondly called by my family..little did we know that sunday 6/10/19 when you were departing from Funbi’s house would be the last time of seeing you. The few years we spent together in church was wonderful, she dedicated her life to the work of God, always participating in church activities. Our last discussion was on the forthcoming women archdeconry hosting and I handed the list of payment to her to help with the calculation and she called me the following day 7/10/19 that she had done it. Mummy Ayanniran, rest in the bosom of our Lord.. we love you but God loves you more!

Mowa was my childhood friend, and as young girls we lived on the same street and couple houses away from each other. We got really close when we were both students at Federal school of Arts and Science in Ondo. We went to school together and studied together. She was such a storyteller and she tells stories and I enjoyed listening to them. It was a miracle we passed those exams then. We were like 2 peas in a pod. I will forever cherish those memories. Mowa was gentle,joyful. I remember her laughter was loud but soothing, what really attracted me to her was her genuity and authenticity, no pretense so real and so simple, she finds happiness in smaller things in life like having a good conversation. Even after all those years of not seeing each other,when we saw again it was as if we were never apart. I was happy we reconnected. Even though it is sudden and painful, I know you are in the right place because your heart is always in the right place. Even as we are all crying because we gonna miss you. I could hear you laugh and saying "its all good, everything is gonna be ok" I love you my dear friend keep resting till I see you again.I know you have done your part and you are now back home. Like the Bible says ' to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord'. Good night Mowa!!.
