My sincere condolences to Graeme and Monica’s lovely family, I have been privileged to spend a few times with both and Monica always funny, sparkly spot on humour was always an enjoyable fun time. So very sorry for your loss and time cut short Xxx

Sincere condolences to the Hayes and Meek families on the loss of Monica. May she rest in peace.

Monica was a person I had met only on a few occasions. She immediately impressed me with her openness and kindness and with her lovely dark red hair. A big regret now is not being able to make up for lost time and have a special meal together. I am also Irish and we would in all probability have had an easy friendship, due mostly to Monica. I can tell from all the heartfelt tributes from her friends that she had a great way of making you feel better just from being in her company. It is a painful loss for you all. We never imagined she would lose her life at such a young age and in circumstances which make it all the more difficult for Graeme, her Mother, her sister and brothers. My sincerest compassion is with her family and friends. Farewell Monica and rest in peace.

My wonderful friend. Moneca I just can’t believe I won’t ever see you again , here your voice again. You were a shoulder I could lean on. You always offered the right advice. God has chosen to take you from this life . I guess he needs you more than we do. Rest in peace my beautiful friend. Until we meet again Ben

News of your passing has deeply shocked me . Monica you were such an amazing person, loving and caring, and it’s hard to accept that you are no longer in our lives. You were a true blessing to to everyone that was privileged to have met you, worked with you and to everybody who was blessed to know you. YOU WILL FOREVER BE MISSED.

firstly condolences Graeme and the family. Monica you’re a lady of many things but to most the you’re mum. You are one in a million and all can admit that, infectious laughter, sense of humour, advice, ear to burn and the list only gets longer the more i think. Times Going for drinks after work me saying only having 1 that never worked. When we was working in December I would ask if u wanted a beer for the train ride home to u replied f*** off I’ll piss my self, that will always stick with me. The 5 years of working together you have touched and will always have a place in so many people’s hearts. Yes you have gone but you will live on in memory and will not be forgotten. Rest in peace Kieran & family

My deepest condolences to all, especially her family and close friends. I did not get the privilege to know Monica for as long as most, but the time we spent together I will never forget. From the first day I met her, she treated me like a friend. She showed me the way around her area and immediately made me feel accepted. She was definitely like a mother to me and even with the pandemic, never failed to give me a hug. Her sense of humour encouraged me to stay positive through the trying times we had and help me laugh off the small stuff. It took me a while to finally write this as I just couldn't accept her not being around anymore, but I've come to realise that she is now resting in a better place. Thank you Monica for giving me strength. Rest in Peace.
