Dear All, As you know, our beloved Aai left for the heavenly abode on 8th October 2025. Coming from a small village - she indeed came a long way living across different countries and playing a diverse set of roles so very elegantly in her lifetime. After meeting all the family and friends and visiting our ancestral temples in Goa, she passed away peacefully in her sleep. We cannot thank God Almighty enough for blessing her with such a serene departure from this planet. She possessed innumerable qualities and always believed in managing her own tasks without seeking any help from anyone and that was also evident when she breathed her last. We would refrain from saying that she will be dearly missed as “she continues to live on in every single breath of ours”. We humbly request that you write your memories and upload any pictures of Mina Deshpande to celebrate her life and times. Kindly avoid writing anything about her bereavement. Meena Attya was more than just a beloved aunt to me; she was a pillar of love, strength, and warmth. As my father's only sister and our only Attya, she held a special place in our hearts. Her visits from Canada were always a joyous occasion, filled with laughter and love. I'll cherish the memories of her warm hugs and her calls, where she'd ask about everyone's whereabouts, showing her genuine interest and care. She was a strong, independent lady who inspired us all with her resilience and kindness. May her memories bring comfort and peace to all of us. Meena Attya, your love, laughter, and legacy will forever be etched in our hearts.

The sudden and unexpected demise of our dear meenavahini was a great shock. She was very friendly and nice person. I always remember her hospitality whenever we visited her. She used to prepare great dashes specially of fish. She was the one who stood by ashok very firmly in his good and bad times. She of course lived a full life and without bothering anyone silently left all of us. MayGod rest her in peace

मीना वहिनीं आणि अशोक यांच्या लग्नानंतरच्या पहिल्या काही वर्षात माझा राजासह अनेक वेळा त्यांच्याशी संपर्क आला. त्या हवेत तरंगण्याच्या काळात मिनवाहिनीने आमचा पाहुणचार किती सोशिकपणे आणि हसतमुखाने केला याची जाणीव काही काळानंतर मला झाली.अशोकशी झालेल्या प्रत्येक फोनवर तिनेही आपुलकीने संभाषणात भाग घेतला. बराच काळ प्रलंबित असलेला प्रत्यक्ष भेटीचा योग मात्र हुकला. We miss her very much. अशी वाहिनी दुर्लभ. We miss her very much.

Mina Vahini left this world suddenly and left all of us in a big shock! I have huge memories of her. Be it NOIDA, Pune or Toronto, all memories are fresh. She used to call from Toronto very often just to ask how is everything going.Also she used to call for every occasion or achievement. Kavita and I always felt that Mina Vahini was extremely frank and transparent. Hence her face was always peaceful and smiling. We pray that her Atma will rest in peace Prashant and Kavita
