Michel Buch-Andersen

I am shocked. Terribly sad news. My most sincere apologies to the entire RWS team. Michel will be sorely missed. It was always a pleasure talking to him. Virginia Torrens I was sorry to learn of the terribly sad news about Michel. I had a few dealings with him over the last couple of years and he was always kind, professional, and courteous. I can only echo what others have said here - Michel was a gentleman who's way of doing business really struck a chord with so many of his customers. So much so that I will add a couple of the responses I had from his key client contacts when I passed on the sad news... RIP Michel.

It is with great sadness that I learn of the news of Michel's passing. I had the opportunity to work with Michel in person back in 2017 and learn a great deal from him. His sense of humour, positive attitude and just sheer class were remarkable. My thoughts are with all his loved ones at this time. Sending strength.

Having known Michel since late 90s when he was part of Microsoft, it was always a pleasure working with him. When I joined SDL in 2017, he was one of the first to connect. I really miss this wise person and I keep thinking of him, his family and friends. You will be forever missed.

I always said Michel was one of the colleagues I could really learn from. The way he thought out of the box and often convinced customers with arguments I wouldn't have even though of was a revelation to me. But much more importantly, Michel was a humble guy, confident and clearly smarter than some but never showed off. The first time he walked into our office in Leuven, many people thought our new Ops Manager had arrived as he had such a presence and was so smartly dressed (look who they got now!). Michel was a class act from start to finish.

Thinking of Michel's family & friends at this desperately sad time. Had the pleasure of working with Michel for many years & admired the way he resonated with customers & colleagues a like. Michel wasn't afraid to be direct but had a great sense of humility & was always able to lighted the mood. He brought his Parisian flare to customer meetings - always being the best dressed. We'll miss you Michel.
