Onze moeder was een warme, liefdevolle vrouw met een enorme liefde voor het leven. Ze zorgde voor iedereen om haar heen en was altijd betrokken bij het leven van anderen. Sociaal en creatief als ze was, maakte ze van elk moment iets bijzonders. In september kreeg ze de diagnose maagkanker. Ze koos er zelf voor om naar hospice de Patio te gaan, waar ze haar laatste weken doorbracht, omringd door liefdevolle mensen. Ze is overleden in het bijzijn van haar familie. Onze geliefde moeder, partner, zus, Nana en vriendin. We zullen haar enorm missen. We nodigen je uit om verhalen, foto's, anekdotes of herinneringen van Mary te delen. ————— Our mother was a warm, loving woman with an immense love of life. She cared for everyone around her and was always involved in the lives of others. Social and creative as she was, she made every moment special. In September, she was diagnosed with stomach cancer. She chose to go to hospice de Patio, where she spent her final weeks surrounded by loving people. She passed away in the presence of her family. Our beloved mother, partner, sister, Nana and friend. We will miss her dearly. We invite you to share stories, pictures, anecdotes or memories of Mary.

Mary was echt een super inspirerende, mooie en warme vrouw. Ik heb haar mogen leren kennen als collega gids en hoe zij haar leven heeft geleefd, is zoals ik ook zou willen. Het volgen van haar hart en de dingen doen die bij haar past. Zelfs als dat betekent dat je een moeilijke keuze moet maken. Ik zal haar herinneren als een enorm cool, mooi mens. Ik wens iedereen heel veel sterkte toe, in speciaal haar dochters Deidre en Josephine. Mary, je bent een inspiratie. Ik ben zo dankbaar je te hebben leren kennen, tot wederziens.

Sincere condolences to all of you on the very sad loss of Mary. So sad to hear of herMary passing so quickly. I regulary met Mary, Ann and Catherine at Irini apartments on the beautiful island of Corfu. Beautiful, fun loving ladies who enjoyed life to the full. Always a pleasure to be in their company.
