MRS. M. O. SOPITAN, beautiful in and out, a prayer warrior, was our very amiable and darling mother-in-law. Her deep faith in the Almighty God is unsurpassable. On our occasional visits, in particular during her sickness, she was the encourager rather than being the one to be encouraged! "God is working His purposes out in her," she would say. Mrs. Sopitan, always smiling, was all the time full of her usual humour about some Ijesha songs which she has fallen for. She would render them and together we would all burst into prolonged laughter. May the Lord comfort and grant Baba Sopitan, her husband, and her children the fortitude to bear the great loss. Mama has gone to a better place where there is no pain nor struggle,may God grant her eternal rest and keep the family she left behind. We shall meet on the resurection morning.

Mummy I missed you so much, each time I remembered all your advices, the times we have spent together, your motherly care to me I know that a true mother and an icon is gone. I love you mummy and I will really miss you. Rest in Peace mummy..
