Kory McGowan

Kory was always one of the "go-to" people when you couldn't figure something out but he somehow always had an answer or option. As many have said, he was quiet but quick with a joke or to bust chops. Willing to participate in the crazy Christmas decorating ideas that included him getting dressed up in some crazy costume. He will be greatly missed and my heart goes out to Knavis and the rest of the McGowan family.

You could always count on Kory to steer you in the right direction making you laugh the whole way through. he did it and he did it well. There was always something about him that would catch the attention of everyone in the room. you know you were just waiting for him to drop that punchline at any moment. my prayers and sincerest condolence to Knavis and family

Kory was a true leader and great manager. He always had time to assist with any problems the AR Department had. I never knew him to be anything but friendly and helpful. Will miss talking Seminoles football with him. Deepest sympathy to the family.

My heart sank at the news of Kory's passing. I had the great pleasure of having him twice as a direct lead/manager. He was one of my most favorite people as a leader and friend, but was also my most favorite and greatest nuisance - he always had something to say. However it was always in good fun. I will always be grateful for his support of me in my growth in the company and community events that I participated in. He always had an open door, ear to listen and while quiet and reserved, always offered me the best knowledge and advice he could give. I will miss him deeply! My thoughts and prayers will always be with his family for God's comfort, peace and strength.

My condolence to the McGowan family. Kory was a honest and kind person. Known Kory since 2010 when I started with Alere and he was always a person to go out of his to help you in anyway he could, and the same time he was funny with a great sense of humor. Your will be miss. Rest in peace and may the lord bless the McGowan family.

Kory was a cool guy, he would always crack me up with his dry and honest sense of humor. Thoughts and prayers to his family, may God comfort you all.

Kory was a man of many talents. He could be a gruff disciplinarian telling me to improve my attitude. He was a guy always willing to talk sports. He cracked jokes constantly and wore his humor like armor. He was a point of calm when chaos swirled around us. He always supported and defended his teams. I miss him and send my condolences to Knavis and family.
