Oh mummy! The news of your passing was beyond shocking. You so much enjoyed looking after people, whether strangers or family, you also loved to accommodate everyone. Even when you didn't have much you made sure everyone had something. How you managed to remember everyone's "oriki" at various times marveled me so much and still does till date. My years of tutelage under you were my most formative years. I'll forever remain grateful for these and many more. you will be greatly missed by us all. With gratitude to God, we celebrate the life of Iya Yemi - one of God's kindest person on earth. You were so kind that it was written all over your face. Everyone was welcome in your warm home. Your hospitality knows no bounds. Your godly character and warmth we can also see in all your children. We thank God for your graciousness and love. We will miss you greatly but take comfort that you are with Jesus. Glory be to God amen

We, the entire members of "The Great Club,Tede",heartily commiserate with the entire family of Folaranmi of the Home call of the best half of our member, Emmanuel Badejo Folaranmi, which occured on 9th November, 2023.We felt utterly shocked at the sad event. We,however,take consolation in her exemplary life style admired by all whose life crossed hers.She was a good mother to all members' children and kept memory of their individual "oriki' (cognomen). Just as an illness is measured by a thermometer, and high fever tells the seriousness of an illness, so also in the Spiritual life,misery from death of a loved one is the thermometer which measures one's closeness to God. Jesus loved our gentle Mama Yemi more and called her home at His own time.Though the Trumpet call is painful, we ask the Lord to grant you comfort to bear the irreversible loss.
