Kelly was the beloved youngest child of Sharon and Mo Cousineau and Ted Collins. She was the loving sister of Steven and David and sister in law of Kali and Lauren. She loved being the adoring Aunt of Jordan, Emma and Lily. She was most proud of her Goldens...Ty, Bentley, and her latest Cooper. Kelly's path through much of her life was complicated and difficult following a diagnosis of cancer in several areas of her body. She faced this battle with relentless strength, unwavering courage and unmatched bravery. Those fortunate enough to be Kelly's friends, co-workers, parents and students at Marlborough School were mostly unaware of her daily struggles. She faced each day with contagious optimism and made an indelible impact on everyone she interacted with...be they young or old, rich or poor. She led by example and encouraged all to share their strengths with those less fortunate. During this time of grief and reflection, the family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers you consider a donation to the Humane Society or to Golden Rescue ...a non-profit dedicated to the welfare of Golden Retrievers. A celebration Kelly's incredible spirit will be held in the near future.

Wow, I just found out about "Kellzo" (Kelly) passing. I swear I am not lying when I say she was truly and honestly one of the best people ever! We dated in our youth (late 80's). I wont ever forget you Kellzo. Loved hanging out and I loved your "LIGHT"!! When we contacted each other during covid, she never let on thst she was ill. I feel horrible for not being able to make it back to Canada in time for a visit as I was living in California at the time. Rest sweet child. You cannot be forgotten. Your light ever shines brilliantly! Hank

Ms Collins, Kelly. I've known you since I was 11 years old. I remember the day I met you. You were so kind, caring and passionate. When I grew up, we kept in contact and met later on in life during other adventure in life but then again when I myself became an EA in the school board. Now at 34 years old, I still hold our relationship close to my heart as it was always so positive! I will miss you, and so will soo many others♡

Steve, to you and your entire family Bill and I would like to express our sincere condolences. We are so very sorry for your loss, our hearts are breaking for all of you. Kelly was beautiful inside and so kind and giving to everyone she knew. We will always be grateful to Kelly for introducing us, she often comes up in many conversations especially our Anniversary when we tell the story of how we met. If it weren't for Kelly we would not have the beautiful family that we have. She will always be in our hearts as I know she will be in all those that knew her.
