I remember us ushering at a wedding together years ago and there this really demanding and rude fella that I was going to loose my mind with and you stepped in with your poise and grace. I also remember you walking down the aisle to meet Dennis. Again your poise and grace displayed as you took your time to take it all in. I will miss our little jokes in church.

Your perseverance, resilience and faithfulness will stay with me. You lived a life of impact. So grateful that you shared it with so many. Xxxx

Gonna miss Julie a ridiculous amount. Been thinking a lot about which memory to share as there are so many key moments of my life I shared with Jules. Like at my wedding when I was struggling to rewrite my vows and she came in and prayed with me, and gave everyone who tried to come near the room stern words to give me the space I needed. Or the time we attempted to bake a healthy, vegan cheesecake together. It was awful! But it looked great and we laughed and cried whilst chatting and baking that afternoon. I think of how giving Jules was, of her time as a mentor, of her heart as a friend and even of her shoes (she lent me a pair for my wedding.) Jules was there for me through major crises and hearing what she overcame gave me hope for my own life. She’d survived so much and rebuilt a beautiful life with Dennis which inspired me to hope when I was in a dark place. I’ll never forget her strength when she told me she had cancer. Jules was beautiful, vulnerable strong and full of life. I’m grateful for her eye for beauty and glad she introduced me to Matt Smalls. I'll miss her loving rebuke given with a smile, her words of wisdom, her vivacious spirit and her constant DMs on instagram. Can’t put into words how sad I am that Jules isn’t with us, but I’m glad she’s not in pain and she’s with Christ (probably living her best life.) I feel like a better person for having known Julianna and I’ll forever be grateful for her mentorship and friendship. Sad we’ll never go out for another meal but grateful to have learnt from the way you loved Dennis, Alysia, your nieces, your siblings, your friends & family and God. My prayers are with Dennis and the family

Death may have taken you away but memories of you will always remain in my heart. I am thankful for the beautiful moments we share and for the happiness you brought to my brother’s life. Saying you are gone too soon is an understatement but knowing you are no longer suffering in any way bring great comfort. Rest in eternal peace.
