Hayley Hulbert

Where do I even begin. Hayley was such a special human being and I remember being teamed up with her from the offset in both of our teaching degrees. I was always so thankful for her sense of calm, fun and professionalism during what were sometimes chaotic circumstances. I loved the team that we became for a while, working on briefs together and sharing some absolute classic year groups. Hayley, you were brilliant and your peace and light will always be in the atmosphere at Oldham College and whichever other place you lit up. Lots of love, thoughts and prayers to Dave and the family. Hayley was such a lovely woman. Conscientious, full of smiles and positivity. I’m glad to have met her and, like many, will remember her with fondness. My deepest sympathy for family and friends. X

Still cant get my head around the fact that you are gone. You were an amazing person ,friend and colleague. You always approached everything with a smile. I always loved our chats and laughs over the years and winding each other up and getting merry on many social events. I was so happy for Hayley and Dave when they got married this summer and how happy together they were for years. To have this all cut short is heart breaking . Hayley will be forever in my heart and in my thoughts. My condolences go to Dave and all the family and friends. Rest in peace Hayley.

It's took me a while to write this as I am still in shock. Throughout her fight with cancer, she was always positive, always aiming for future plans. She was never going to let it beat her. A true example of such a strong character. You were not only a colleague but also a friend. Always caring for others and taking the time to listen. You will be sorely missed Hayley. Beautiful soul inside and out. My heart goes out to Dave and Hayley's family. x

A truly saddening and shocking thing to happen. This will be a massive loss and my thoughts and love go to Hayley, Dave and all family and friends.

This is such sad news. It is not often we meet up with staff from other faculties but I met Hayley when we worked together at a GCSE results day. She was a lovely person - obviously supportive of young students progression and, although I didn't know her as a teacher, can absolutely understand the comments made by her colleagues. My heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and colleagues who knew her well.

The handful of times I met Hayley she was clearly a hard-working person who showed determination and a passion in her topic. This is such sad news, she will be remembered as a kind and strong woman.

Hayley was a wonderful woman with the best interests of her students and staff at heart. We will miss her.
