A tribute to our colleague and friend – Gillian Greaney We are profoundly saddened by the death of our colleague and friend, Gillian Greaney. Gillian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at Cork University Hospital on the 17th April 2023. We extend our deepest sympathies to the Greaney and McSweeney families at this very sad time. Gillian was a proud mum to Tessa and Rosie and loving wife to her husband Owen. Gillian was a wonderful colleague and friend who will be greatly missed. Gillian joined WTW in 2015 as a Client Service Advisor. In 2018, Gillian was promoted to Client Service Manager and she made this role her own over the last 5 years. Gillian will be remembered by all her colleagues and friends for her tremendous integrity, loyalty, work ethic and compassion. We all have heavy hearts in WTW today at the loss of our dear colleague and friend. We were so lucky to have Gill as a colleague and friend. She was always smiling and always had time for those of us who pestered her with questions. Very generous with her time and great fun on a night out! It won't be the same without her. Hopefully Owen, Tessa and Rosie can find peace. Gill and her family will always be in our thoughts.

I will always remember her talking about her family, what you would be doing together over the weekend and she always looked forward to going home to her Mum’s dinner. Owen, she was so happy with you and the girls. I remember the excitement of your wedding, having the girls and she talked about you all the time. She loved her girls so much, they were everything to her. May Gillian rest in peace, I will really miss her and she will always be in my thoughts and prayers x
