Giles Richardson

I’m so sorry to hear of GILES passing. He was such an upbeat personality he could turn the worst JETSTAR day into a funny story. I remember having a lot of unserviceable systems on an old 321 and then the APU failed. I was bereft the day was getting worse and Giles goes wow can you believe how funny that is! We get to spend longer together having a laugh, what did you bring for dinner? Priorities corrected to what’s for dinner. To which I could only break into laughter. God would be happy to have him as his new wingman keeping him smiling! David Giles.

From PPL and instructor rating training to the one flight we did together at Jetstar, resulting in an unscheduled overnight in Perth - flying with Giles was always a pleasure, and socially he was always the life of the party. Sincere condolences to Kerri and Reef, Tim and Rosy Helbig

At 1Peter 5:7 Jehovah God ( Psalm 83: 18 ) invites you to "throw all your anxiety on him ' because he cares for you . I hope your family can find comfort from God's Word during this sad time. I’m very sad to hear about the passing of Giles. He was an amazing man and pilot. He had a great sense of humour and when we spoke, talked fondly about his family and how he cherishes being a dad to his son Reef. Thoughts are with his family at this sad time xo
