Femke passed away peacefully in Brighton in May 2022 after a three and a half year illness. She was 75 years old. She will be remembered and loved for her varied and adventurous life, her generous yet straight-talking personality, as well as her passion and expertise in the fields of cooking, knitting and crochet. She will be greatly missed by her many friends, family and loved ones in the UK, Greece, Holland, the United States and other corners of the globe.

Very very sorry to hear; also about the length of your illness. I'm 78 and amazingly still going strong(ish). And memories continue to be good. Much love from Indonesia; so I won't be coming to the festivities I'm afraid. But love to Jessie (and Piers of course).
