Doug Pillans

Thank you Doug for playing an instrumental role in the successful delivery of many of my projects over the last 6 months - I hope you got to enjoy that whiskey! Thoughts are with you and your loved ones.

Doug, thank you for your drive, sense of humour and passion. You made the world a better place - and you will be and are, hugely missed by all. It was an honour and pleasure to have you in bp pulse - and our deep thoughts and prayers for your family.

Doug was a really special person. He cared passionately about his role, and the people around him. He was a key part of the delivery of so many projects and often received praise from the project managers that he supported on a daily basis. He remained dedicated to the bppulse mission right up until his final days. When he was off from work attending treatment, his first question every time we got together was "when can I come back to work?", he wore his bppulse jacket with pride when he went into his treatment sessions at hospital and got into conversations with patients and staff - he was always selling the bppulse brand. I got to know Doug well during our visits, or breakfast meetings at McDonalds or Burger King. I enjoyed getting to know him and also Dawn and working through some of the lower points in his treatment. I feel lucky and privileged to have got to know him. Doug's humour came out right the through the years that I knew him - even on the profile photo on this site I remember Doug joking how he had used a filter to put the beard on after I commented that I didn't remember seeing him with one. Thinking of Dawn and the family at this difficult time. Joel

Doug, what can I say apart from what a lovely person with a great sense of humour. I will miss our chats, putting the world to rights and your never-ending great advice! Sending love to Dawn and family at this very difficult time.

Oh Dougie! I will miss you so much - you were always there to brighten up the day with your conversation and sense of humour. I loved our chats and putting the world to rights!
