Dola, I can't believe 3 years have passed already as your loss remains fresh in my memory. You had a good soul and your amicable character, smile, laughter and the way you called my name will always be missed. It's still kind of strange having to write about you in the past tense. It seems like I'm simply penning an aerogramme letter to you and we'll catch up as usual when next I'm home. Iti Olorun fi ju wa lo ni yen. That's why greater than us all. We may ask why, but only He understands why. I'm quite thankful for decades of love and friendship and I'm thankful neither of us took any of those years for granted. That's why you were one of my beloved brothers during your lifetime and I'll forever appreciate your regarding me as your dear sister from childhood also. You are missed, but I know you're watching over Ochee, your children, family and everyone of us your beloved ones and friends who are all over the world. May you continue to rest in the Lord's bosom and my greetings to Seguntan and all other beloved one who have also gone to rest in the Lord. Sun ire o!

Words fail me, still in shock. Adieu my brother, best friend, mentor, inspiration. You were kind, friendly, u have a way of making the people around u happy, u were fun to be with, always smiling. You met my mum once 6years back, but she wont stop talking about u, cant even tell her u r gone. U WILL FOREVER REMAIN IN MY HEART DOLLAR!!!. May your soul rest in peace.

This is really a great loss. I'm still in a daze. But yes, you were laid to rest today so we can't go about in denial anymore hoping we will wake up from this nightmare. I remember the last time I saw you, just last month when I visited Lagos. Your exit is indeed a great loss to mankind. You were indeed a role model. Gentle sweet soul, down to earth, accommodating, full of life, a teacher, encourager.....and so much more (I am at a loss for words). I still feel like you left too soon, but the pastor today said that you left right on time. God knows best. Big D!...terrible vacuum has been created. There can't be another Dola! Unique, warm, embracing, kind, jolly....many more similar words to describe Dola. From our teenage days, you always showed your big heart to all. Our London days, you embraced us all and shared good times with us. It did not stop when we returned...it never stopped. You were a wonderful guy and a man I rejoice I ever met and knew as a friend. Condolences to the Bamgboye family. A huge vacuum has been created undoubtedly but only God knows best. I still find it hard to believe that you are gone!I would never forget how you would sit down and listen to me when I was troubled. You always made me laugh even in the midst of my tears,how you would encourage me to dance even in your office.You were always there for me as promised.It hurts because I would never dance with you as we used but I take solance that you are in Heaven and the memories in my heart is what keeps you alive and forever will be.Till we meet again my beloved friend and brother, Rest in peace D$!
