Dianne Foster-Lewis

Nothing I could say could, express, my sorrow at the loss this truly amazing, lady. She gave me the strength and courage, to leave a 30 year abusive relationship. A true Warrior Woman. I will never forget her.

I worked with Di at PDAS for a couple years when I was volunteering and she was so welcoming and warm. I will always remember our breaks and good talks together. She was always giving me good advice and reassurance as I was struggling with university at the time and I will treasure those chats. I haven’t spoken to her in a while but always loved to see what she was up too on her Facebook. I will miss her lovely smile and am sending all my love to her family and friends ❤️

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of such a wonderful woman! Di was filled with amazing warmth, truly one of the kindest people I had the pleasure to meet. Despite our encounters being brief they were filled with so much laughter and heart to hearts. Di never knew how much her kindness truly helped me in a time of need when I just needed a listening ear. I will forever be thankful that our paths crossed! Thinking of all Di’s family and loved ones, a truly special lady who will be missed by many!

I didn't know Di all that long and only through work. She was beautiful inside and out and her bubbly somewhat crazy energy always shone through when she came into the office. I loved our crazy phone calls during lock down which started about a client moved on to spoiling Tilly and always ended with the wine fridge and plenty of giggles in between!! To the lady in the diamanté facemask I am raising a glass to you! Keep smiling down on us you won't be forgotten

I am not someone who usually posts online, but I feel Dianne was so special that I want to. Dianne has been a much-loved friend of mine for over 30 years. She was generous, kind, very welcoming, fun-loving, entertaining and amusing and I will miss her greatly. As my bridesmaid, she said “I’ll do your hair for your wedding day, Tan” saying it would be fine as she’d previously worked at a hairdresser’s. She was right, it was lovely! Some time later I asked about the hairdresser’s and she said “Oh did I forget to say, it was just for one day and I only swept up the cuttings”. Hahaha – but lovely job – well done Di, thank you! I have many fond memories of Di that I hold dear. I am so very sorry for Lewie, Georgia, Ben, Liz, Brian and Sue, and send much love. Such a shocking loss. Goodbye my beautiful, loyal friend, I will remember the fun we had xxxx

I'm so sad to hear of the loss of Di. She made such an impact on my life. In my placement at PDAS she made me feel so welcome. She always had a smile on her face. Di was amazing at her job and so passionate, I learnt a lot from her and I will always remember her passion and drive for the people she supported. Emma x

Dianne was made with a totally unique recipe. She lived life to the full, with kindness and spirit. You smile when you think of her, then probably cringe when you realised what you got up to with her, or giggle out of control. Devastated are the family & friends left behind but glad that you were part of our lives. Good night, god bless and raise a glass of champagne to the amazing Dianne. Xx
