David has left a big gap in the family. He had such a beautiful heart and a very bright smile. He'll truly be missed. Forever loved and in our hearts. Rest easy our dear Daudi.

My memories of the always jovial David stretch as far back. David must have been under 5 years old when we would closely interact and play a lot as kids. David alikua na roho safi tu, a trait he kept into his adulthood. My last memory of him was just a few months ago in Macha. We chatted late into the night by the fireside. He still struck me as a very reasonable guy. He was extremely helpful during Wawa Deborahs funeral living true to the impression that he left many who have shared their tributes. I'm still reckoning with his sudden demise. Yaani David is gone?

Our hearts go out to this family during this time of sorrow. May God give you all the strength and grace you need.

My cousin David had a calm demeanor, always ready to be of help, very loving and happy. Even in his death there are so many lessons i have picked from how loved ones have eulogised him. I pray for comfort for the entire Mayama family.
