David Mumford

I was so shocked and saddened to hear the news about David. I miss his greetings every time I was at work and the help and assistance he always gave willingly and with a smile. When I couldn't fine my brolly at home and sent out a group message he scoured the library without being asked. He laughed when I admitted that I had found it in my waterproof jacket pocket. He is so missed.

I was so sad to hear about David.....I encountered him only a handful of times but he was always so cheery and made me feel very welcome. Staff members always spoke about him so positively and he will be sadly missed. My condolences to the family and friends he has left behind.

Each time I saw David I was greeted with a cheery smile. Whilst we had only known David a short while he had quickly become a friend and trusted colleague. I am saddened to learn of David's passing. David will be greatly missed.

We are deeply saddened by the loss that you and your family have encountered. When we first met David, he appeared rather quiet and shy but as time went on, he started to reveal his great sense of humour. He always had a smile for us when we got to work, always made time for us, having a laugh and a joke. He was very conscientious in his work and nothing was too much trouble for him. He was always willing to help in any way he could. His presence will be very sadly missed.

I am so sorry to hear of David's passing. I only worked with David for a couple of months or so, but we did chat on the 'phone, prior to his starting at the Library. David was always very helpful and had a dry sense of humour. I remember him thanking me for some seeds for the garden… a lovely man who will definitely be missed. My thoughts are with his family at this very sad time.

David was such a lovely cheerful person who always smiled and greeted me when I arrived in work first thing in the morning. We always exchanged stories and some of course some funny banter before cracking on with the day. We had also met (by accident) a few times outside of work a couple of times. It was either usually either in the pub or walking along the seafront. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of David's passing. David was a cracking guy who always had the time for us all. Sending my thoughts and prayers to all his family and friends. David will be very sadly missed by all those who knew him.

It was a pleasure to arrive at work in the morning being greeted by David's cheerful welcome. He was caring, attentive and a great support. I am missing him and my thoughts are with those he leaves behind.

I was so saddened to hear about David, he was a wonderful addition to the team who always made the mornings feel jolly and his chats were a much needed moral boost before we opened! Thoughts and condolences to his family, David will be missed
