To you my first true love... I remember when I used my address book to start looking for your address even without knowing the place... I asked everywhere in the neighborhood till I found you. You were so dear to me my lady because words would fail me to express how wonderful you have been... I got to know about this news late and I wish it never happened. Rest in the bosom of our Lord my first crush and wife I never had.

This came as a shock - I opened facebook and saw your obituary- jezz it hits hard. We weren’t close friends but for every time we came in contact in secondary school and the last time I saw you afterwards. I can never forget your captivating smile, your smile lights up the room. Rest in peace Ruth- may God comfort your family and grant you eternal rest.

Dear Ruth, The last time i saw you was at my wedding 10 years ago. I didn’t invite you ( I was so caught up in a lot of things) but boy, you heard and you showed up happy for Peter and i. and i was so apologetics and thankful but you were like oh no, it’s nothing. That’s who you were Ruth, you displayed what it meant to love as christ loved us daily in your walk and talk. I’m so sorry this happened, but i have no doubt in my heart that you have gone to be with your maker, rest easy sis, till we meet again, and thank you for teaching us what it means to love selflessly without expecting anything. My Darling Ruth...This is so hard to take. You were full of Love, smile and compassion. I remember our last conversation asking you to post God's messages on WhatsApp as you do on Twitter for us all to learn and you told me soon. Thank you for being an example that we can still serve God even in pain and serving God is indeed a happy thing to do. Thank you for reaching God's word so effortlessly that I was able to learn more about Christ. I'm sure you are at the feet of God. God rest your soul my Sweet Sister that comments on my status every time I post. I love you Ruth Moyo but God loves you more. I will Miss you.

This is one bitter pill to swallow Ruth Moyo. You were loving and lovable. You spread love, laughter, and warmth with open arms. Always willing to stand in and show up for everyone irrespective of tribe, religion, or social status. You left a huge vacuum and will be greatly missed.

The news of your demise was big shock to everyone. Your short-lived life was very impactful, you were kind, compassionate, generous, prayerful and down-to-earth to everyone irrespective of class, status or religion. We'll forever miss you but your good works will forever live in our hearts. We find solace knowing that you're with the Lord. Rest in peace (mama) as I fondly call you.

Isaiah 57:1 came to mind when I heard of your demise but I did cry my eyes out. Your personality as full of love. You went all out for friends and family. Your ability to forgive irrespective of the issue was divine. I will miss you Ruth. I pray that scripture above consoles us, knowing that we part now to meet at the Master's feet. Well done, thou good and faithful soldier.
