This memorial page has been set up for people who knew Chris Swallow to leave messages of condolence. Chris was known to many, having worked at a number of fire stations over his 20 years at the Brigade, including most recently Euston, Chiswick, Edmonton and Wembley. Chris passed away with his family at his side and they are aware of how much Chris meant to many people at the Brigade. Our thoughts are with Chris’s family, friends and colleagues.

Still remember your first day, I was an arrogant and cocky so and so, you definitely weren't. Over the next 20 years you became one of the people that made me better and one of the people constantly reaching out because you genuinely cared. The way you sipped your million cups of tea a day drove me up the wall, I'll miss that always now. Love you mate.

To Chris's loved ones, Not many get to leave the mark on people as Chris has. I was lucky to have known him, in life you don't always get to meet a genuine kind nice man like Chris, so I know I was lucky. To a great bloke who gave me one of the funniest days of my working life that will go down as legendary I will miss you. Forever grateful to have met you.
