So sorry Stuart I had no idea of your personal tragity !! She was so kind and friendly to me whenever I saw her in the community !! Always would ask about me & my kids !! Always a happy look on her ! Shopping as much as I do , I saw her many many times in the community !! Cause I’ve been away from shul , I had no idea !!! So sorry Stuart , u have always been a great guy to see , in shul & outside of shul !!! Be well Mark SHPIRO

My Dearest Friend Carrie, How am I even writing this, my heart is breaking, I don’t understand how such a kind giving soul could be taken from us. But that’s just it Hashem needed you because you where such a loving, giving wonderful lady, such a lady! We all learned from you games, cooking, baking, colors. I could go on and on. Your soul, I am sure is already at the highest level. May you look down on us and keep us safe. I will never forget you Carrie, love you!

When we moved to Oak Park almost 20 years ago Stuart welcomed us in the Shul and Carrie in her home. Since then Carrie never missed sending us the most beautiful shaloch manot. She never missed an opportunity to say hello, she never missed an opportunity to bring along her warmth, smiles and love. She brought tremendous chesed to a world in great need. May her memory be a blessing to you and your family and to our world.

Dear Jacklyn and family I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your lovely mom . When I first started at Hair Concept I had met your mom when she was having her hair done with Richard and I spent many of the times she was there chatting with her about our kids and recipes and just enjoyed being around her .Please accept my deepest condolences and my thoughts are with you all at this sad time Danielle Levy

Well before Chabad arrived, Carrie set the standard welcoming our new to the area family into her home for holidays and memories. It was as natural to her as life itself. People like that are a rarity and will long be remembered for her kindness and grace.
