Breda McAuliffe

My deepest sympathy to Joan and Breda's family, she will be sorely missed for her good humored and thoughtful manner. May she rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy to Joan, the McAuliffe and Bradley families. Breda was a wonderful person to work with, she was so willing always to share her vast knowledge with a smile. Her enthusiasm and sense of humor will never be forgotten. You will be sorely missed.

I first met Breda when she was a union delegate for our Cork Branch at the Dept.'s National Annual Meeting. She always managed to get her point across. She also made a huge impression on others judging from the number of phone calls from around the country in the past week. It might only have been once a year but Breda made a lasting impression on so many. We were fortunate to have Breda move to work with us in North Cork. She was a great colleague, nothing was ever a bother. More importantly it was then that we got the benefit of getting to know Breda so well. She had such a great enthusiasm for everything she did and everyone she knew. We will miss her so much. My deepest sympathies to her family at this difficult time.

My sincere and deepest sympathies to Breda’s family, the McAuliffes and the Bradleys. I worked with Breda in the Cork City Offices over the years and she was genuinely such a pleasant and lovely person who applied herself and her wonderful positive energy to all situations with absolute gusto. I particularly remember her singing in the work Christmas choir in the canteen and just touching everyone around her with her positive energy. She will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this very difficult time. RIP Breda.

When I think of Breda I hear her laughter, and see her big smile. I hear her enthusiastic story telling and the excitement for her creative projects. I hear the odd curse, and lots of straight talking - but no malice. I see her head bent diligently at her desk, dedicated and professional. And I see her face light up with pride and love when she speaks about her family. She is a loss to us all but particularly her family whom she treasured so much. Rest in Peace Breda.

Dearest Joan & family, please know that Breda was cherished by her work team. Her willingness to put her shoulder to the wheel and have a good hearty laugh in the process will not be forgotten. She has left a big hole and will be greatly missed. RIP Breda.

We are also thinking of our colleagues in Activation and the staff of the Mallow office who worked so closely with Breda and Joan. May she rest in peace

Breda brought joy to anyone who worked with her. She was a positive beacon of light and such fun to be with. I had the privilege of being part of a work choir conducted by Breda that was such a joyous experience. It's hard to believe that she has passed. My condolences to her family, friends and anyone that knew her. She was one of a kind. RIP
