A long-serving employee of DHL Air (UK) Ltd, Andy brought a wealth of experience to the team, having begun his operational career in the Royal Air Force. Over many years he became a familiar and respected presence within our operation, known for his unique character, dedication to his role and genuine love of aviation. He was truly one of the DHL Air family and a real character within the OCC team. Those who knew Andy will remember his immense passion for aviation and his encyclopaedic knowledge of both the industry and its rich history. Aviation was far more than a profession for Andy; it was a lifelong passion that shaped much of his life. Away from work he was a devoted collector of aviation memorabilia and an enthusiastic student of aviation history, building an extraordinary collection over many years. He had a remarkable ability to share stories, knowledge and insights, and his enthusiasm for the subject was evident to everyone who knew him. Andy will be greatly missed by his friends and colleagues across DHL Air. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and all those who knew him during this incredibly difficult time.

Andy, your passing could not have come at a worse time when what this world desperately needs more than ever are those that have your incredibly uplifting attitude to life. I don't think I can ever recall a moment you were down or sad in all my time knowing you. Even during the most challenging moments your commitment, energy and drive to get the job done outshone all of us. It was truly a pleasure knowing you, and I can confidently speak for all of us when I say you'll be sorely missed by the team. An irreplaceable force and great energy that won't be forgotten. I'll certainly be missing all of our late night chats and exploration through all of your wonderful adventures, not to mention your encyclopedic experience of all things aviation n' more...! Flying high, they don't know how lucky they are to have you up there! Rest well, friend.

Crazy legs Crawfy........ So weird thinking we won't be seeing you again in the Ops room, it certainly won't be the same without you. I will never get the title of No1 crewing officer from anyone else :) The canteen will be forever looking for the Chappy that has two Friday night dinners and kept them largely in business. You'll be missed by us all for your stories, great cups of tea and the giggles. We were just getting started on our lunch time walks and talks where we both managed to put the world to rights so I was so shocked at your sudden passing and the fact we won't have that time again. Fly high buddy xx Sending much love and strength to your family and wishing them all the luck in the world sorting through your military and aviation bits and bobs that you've picked up over the years (which i know is A LOT), I hope they all find good homes in museums around the country so other people get to appreciate all your finds.

RIP Andy. Devastated to hear of your passing, you have been taken too soon. We shared many a car boot,antiques shop trawl and visits to the aeropark. You had your unique attitude to collecting and bagging a great deal on ebay. My sincere condolences to the family.

Crawf, It is Incredibly sad to see a great colleague go so unexpectedly.. I will miss the great cups of tea / posh biscuit rounds and 2am tired conversations.. night shifts won't be the same! rest easy, the DHL World will miss you. (P.S England will win a tournament for us one day!) :) x

I was truly shocked and saddened to hear of your passing Andy.. to be honest, I'm still struggling to accept that we won't see you in the OCC again.
