Andrew Alicoon

Dear Melanie, Marc & Ryan, please accept my most sincere condolences for your loss..I had no knowledge of Andrew’s passing until now & am shocked & saddened to hear this devastating news. Andrew & I worked together in the PI unit at RSA for 12 years before I left the organisation in 2001. I have some great memories of Andrew - he was funny, kind, considerate, helpful and genuinely caring. Such fine qualities in one individual! And above all, he absolutely loved & adored the three of you - his world. I don’t think a single non-work related conversation did not feature you! I’m sure he was a great husband & father and you must be missing him terribly. May the Almighty rest Andrew’s soul in peace & give you continued strength to bear this untimely loss.

Andrew was a lovely man with a kind word for all. I had the honour of helping him arrange his stag do which turned out to be quite an event . I am not sure he ever forgave me . its a sad loss and from all at RSA that know of him we are all truly sorry for your loss

So sad to learn of Andrews passing. Lovely man, a genuinely nice character with a happy disposition, easy of address and always nice to spend time with. My condolences to his wife and the boys. Rest in peace Alicoon.

What a great guy Andrew was, my heart goes out to Melanie, Marc and Ryan. i first knew Andrew from his days a Sun Alliance and very often had a curry with him to thank him for his help following a business transaction. He always had a good word for someone and would bring a smile to my face as he did with others. i last saw Andrew at Arsenal last season and am sure he will be looking down cheering them on in future matches. One of the best.

I knew Andrew for many years through work back to his many years at RSA. Although we have lost touch in recent years, when I did bump into him we always had a nice long chat. To me he was such a genuine and caring man. He will be missed by me and many in the insurance world. Thoughts are with his family and friends. Paul

I knew Andrew through work, I have been a client of his for many years. He was a decent and straight guy who worked hard for his clients. We met up once for a beer and I found he was good laugh too. I am so sorry for his friends and family to hear of his death, he was a good man and will be missed!

There are no words to express how sad we all feel at this terrible news. I have known and worked with Andrew for over 15 years and throughout that entire time Andrew was the perfect gentleman. Open, honest, happy and a man prepared to drop anything to ensure that others were looked after ahead of his own concerns. Andrew was fun to be around and loved nothing more than joining in with the football banter and inquiries regarding who was buying the next coffee or beer. He was a valued member of the team, an extremely popular member of the team and a friend to all. I will miss sitting next to him, I will miss his smile, his infectious manner and warm heart. We will all miss him and all our thoughts and prayers are with Melanie, Marc and Ryan at this terrible time for you all.
