Jim and all the family, I share in your great loss. Sheila was my friend and colleague. Even though I have only known her for 21 years, we had so many fun times together choosing costumes for the drama / musical productions, as well as doing the makeup for the performers. With her vibrant personality and humour she certainly made you laugh a great deal. Sheila was such a talented, clever lady who strove to accomplish all at a high level. My life has been enriched for having met her.

As babies - we played together As children - she was my protector As teenagers - she was my mentor As young wives and mothers - she was my compadre We grew old together ever loved and loving. My sister.

My condolences to Jim and the family. We shared some great dinner parties and plenty of Sheila's good humour over the years. She will be remembered fondly.

I remember so many happy weekends when we were so little, playing with my lovely cousins while Aunty Sheila and Mum chatted, often with Nana too. How she and Jimmy "adopted" me as their little girl. I remember the leaving party when you emigrated and how the last song was played over and over for about an hour as we didn't want to stop - YMCA..... We loved hearing of Nana and Alfs visits to you all. I loved hearing about Sheila working in the school and being a cadet leader - what a cool Aunty. Most of all Aunty Sheila, I remember you laughing. You were an amazing person and I was and am proud to be part of your family. Much love to you, Uncle Jim and to my lovely cousins and families. Sheila was a much loved member of our family. Her friendship and willingness to embrace our brood as part of her own led to a very special relationship which will be sorely missed. We are so fortunate to have had this wonderful woman in our lives.

My Aunty Sheila was always glamorous, laughing and smiling. I am in awe of her artistic talent and loved seeing her as Nancy in a school production of Oliver! I was privileged to share a meal with her and the extended Miller family during a brief trip to Sydney, and also to have a family meal at home with her and Uncle Jimmy. The fun and laughter we shared will always epitomise times with her. Much love to my lovely Aunty Sheila and to all the family xxx

Some people pass through life without influencing a soul. Sheila was the exact opposite of this. Her personality, skills and true friendship will be remembered by literally thousands of colleagues, students and friends. Their lives will be enriched by having known her, as has mine been.
