In Memoriam: Professor Seung Ha Oh, a Guiding Light in Otology It is with profound sadness that I learn of the passing of Professor Seung Ha Oh, a renowned mentor and esteemed colleague in the field of otology. I first had the privilege of meeting him in 2013 at the IFOS congress in Seoul, where his passion for the field and dedication to improving the lives of others shone through. Since then, Professor Oh has been instrumental in my professional journey, providing invaluable guidance and support. His contribution to the development of the Universal Neonatal Hearing Screening program at Dhulikhel Hospital, Nepal, has been transformative, ensuring that countless infants receive the crucial early intervention they need. Professor Oh's brilliance transcended his expertise. He was a person of exceptional kindness, generosity, and infectious enthusiasm, qualities that endeared him to all who knew him. Even during my time at Seoul National University Hospital, I witnessed his genuine care and unwavering support for his colleagues and patients alike. His passing leaves a profound void in the field of otology. He was a mentor who is hard to find, difficult to part with, and impossible to forget. His legacy will live on not only in the lives he touched, but also in the advancements he championed for the field of otology. To Professor Oh's family, friends, and colleagues, I extend my deepest condolences. May his soul rest in eternal peace. His memory will forever inspire us to strive for excellence and dedicate ourselves to the well-being of others, just as he did.

I am greatly saddened that Professor Oh has passed. He was a treasured colleague, a loyal member of CORLAS, and a good friend. He will be sorely missed. I send my condolences to his family and to the members of his department.

Heartbroken at losing my friend of so many years. Seems like just yesterday we were sharing a lab bench. An incredible surgeon, scientist, colleague and human being. We’ll miss him dearly and mourn with his family and friends.

It was truly heartbreaking to hear the news of Prof. Oh's passing. We share in the collective grief of losing such a valued colleague and friend. His dedication to his work and his contributions to our community will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. I am deeply saddened to hear about the sudden demise of Professor Oh. I had the honor to know him and had the greatest respect for him. I will always hold the memory of Professor Oh in my heart. With deepest sympathy.

Words can’t express how sorry I am about Seung Ha’s untimely passing. He was an outstanding clinician, researcher, and musician. Was fortunate to meet him at Michigan, and to play with him many times. I regret missing this last meeting, and last opportunity to do music together, My profound condolences to his loved ones, and colleagues.
