It is with great sadness that I share that Scott Vines peacefully passed away this morning at 1am. The past four years he so bravely and courageously fought his cancer battle with both dignity and strength. I am so privileged to have shared 18.5 years with this wonderful man who meant so much to so many. He was the most beautiful and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to so many. Words can not describe the pain and sorrow in our hearts but we take solace that he is at peace now with the Lord. Scott Vines thank you for loving me, thank you for loving our two beautiful children and thank you for the many happy and cherished memories.

Scott, Andrew, Carly, Nicole and I just spent the last four hours sharing together our times with you. We came together as an unlikely crew at Uni and a bind formed that is never to be broken. We cried and laughed and told each other we loved each other- we loved you Scott. We all cried together watching your service, seeing Joh bravely speak of your love and life together, we saw your beautiful kids being so brave farewell their dad too soon. Scott, you may not Be here physically with us, but each time we think of you and speak your name you are truly here with us.
