Scott Kremke, 65, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2021 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. He was a dedicated and loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. Scott was born in Ridgecrest, California, the son of Kenneth and Shirley Kremke and was raised in Somis, attending Camarillo High School and later Moorpark College. Scott met and married Kate, “the love of his life” and moved to the Central Coast in 1979. Scott was a hard-working local business owner and is well known throughout the area for his kindness, generosity, and honest business dealings. Scott was a founding partner of Mid-Coast Geotechnical in late 1980’s, later going on to found Ram Jack California / Foundation Solutions in 2000. Scott loved to travel with family and friends and had made many great trips over the last few years as well as summers spent in Twain Harte, CA. Scott’s warmth and good-natured personality made an impression on everyone he met and he will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. Scott is survived by his best friend and wife of 44 years, Kate Kremke; his mother Shirley Kremke; brother Michael Kremke; sister Lynne Dickerson (Rob); their children Michelle (Kremke) & Jordan Blasingame, Ryan & Carley Kremke, and Megan (Kremke) & Trevor Mitchell; grandchildren Madeline, Charlotte and Ryan and a large extended family throughout the country. A celebration of life will be held at a later date due to current COVID concerns. If I had the chance today, I would simply tell Scott thank you. Thank you for creating sharing a wonderful life with my best friend, Kate. Thank you for being an amazing father to your children. Thank you for setting the example of a devoted and loving papa. Thank you for the immeasurable laughter you brought to my life, and the lives of so many. I can't get over the news that Scott has passed. I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Scott was one of my best friends and an incredible individual. Every time I drive through Atascadero I always keep an eye out for him. While I haven't been in touch for a number of years I will miss him dearly knowing that we won't cross paths again. Scott, I am very thankful for the time that I was able to get know you, though too short!!! I worked for you at foundation solutions then helped out on your family cabin in Twain Harte. We became fast friends working on that place sharing a love for old school rock and roll (I sure regret missing you and Kate at that concert at the black oak when I was sick)! We talked about fishing and camping and great trips. You always made me feel like I was like family, that is how I will always remember you - a giving, generous and dedicated family man. I miss your laugh and larger than life presence, cheers to you my friend!

Scott Kremke was the nicest person I ever worked with, and getting to know Scott as a friend outside of work is something I will always cherish and the icing on the cake. Scott was a true problem solver who kept things simple and easy. It was no wonder he was so successful in everything he did. I always looked forward to catching up with Scott every chance I got. He sure did give us Scotts a good name! Kate and family, we take great comfort knowing that Scott gave you much happiness, and so many wonderful memories, that will keep him in your hearts always and forever. I can assure you, he will remain in ours as well....

Dear Kate, We were very sad to read in the paper about the passing of Scott. He was a wonderful person and I know you will deeply miss him. I’m so glad you have your family close by so you can all work through the grieving process together as well as support each other through this time. When I read the news in the paper it instantly took me back to the day we were in Barnes and Nobles Bookstore getting something to drink from the little cafe’ shop. You jokingly got our attention while standing in line behind us. I remember enjoying so much just sitting and catching up on our lives. You talked about Scott and the treatment he was going through at the time. It was so special to share that space in time and life experiences with you.
