Sara Hansen

Until recently, I worked quite closely with Sara for about 5 years. I was always impressed by her passion and drive to make things better and her energy for chatting with colleagues and customers. I'll miss Sara (and her spontaneous phone calls) and would like to extend my deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Sara - I was saddened to hear you've left us. They say the good ones always leave too soon. There were reports of a sonic boom and light show over the Riverina recently and I'm now convinced that was you leaving us. Thanks for all your help, the laughs, your kindness while we worked together at FH. To your family and friends, I hope your grief is short and your happy memories of Sara long. Rest well Sara

Sara was on my hit-list of "Go-To-People", I will miss our drive-by catch ups and swapping of our many "Mum Moments". Somehow you always managed to make the day brighter and to leave me with a smile on my face. To Ferris and Sara's family and loved ones, such a beautiful, caring soul, I will truly miss her. Deepest sympathies and condolences to Sara's family and friends. She will be missed for her passion, expertise, caring, support and irreverence. I had the good fortune of working closely with her for many years and many is the experience I won't readily forget. One of the recurring highlights was being called upon to check the English of an e-mail, both for grammar and for style...believe it or not some of you out there got messages that had been toned down! I'm sure going to miss her.

Dear Ferris and all Sara's family and dear ones, I just wanted to let you know what a kind, beautiful, joyous person she was to her work with. I joined her extended Fulton Hogan team during the height of the pandemic. Sara looked out for me and got me involved in the weekly online quiz so that I wouldn't be lonely. Every week we shared a laugh about our increasingly crazy Covid wardrobes and obsessed about the food we were making. Sara knew how to cozy! She told me how much she was missing Ferris and was counting down the days to be with him again. I loved how warm and easy she was. I know you will all be feeling her loss and the absence of that gorgeous laugh terribly. I am so glad that I got to know her and will miss her.

Beautiful Sara, I can't believe you are gone. I will always remember our Christmas lunches, New years eve on the beach, coffee in your backyard and everything in between. I will miss you. I am sure you are telling stories and laughing your contagious laugh wherever you are
