Sandra Salgado

Sandra was the personification of a beaming light, warmth, joy and always with a big smile. In The Hague we where together during a group activity where she was not paying attention to the assignments at all ;) but spending time to everyone in the group by chatting and laughing, which is way more important. I am blessed we sat next to each other during a very late and hungry dinner but there was not a second of silence because of all the conversations and Sandra in the middle of it all. I hope you have found inner peace Sandra, you will not be forgotten.

Sandra brought light and laughter into every room she entered. Her warmth, kindness, and boundless positive spirit touched us all in countless ways. We will always remember her smile. Though her time with us was far too short, her impact will remain long-lasting. Our hearts go out to her family and loved ones.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Sandra. She was such a positive and inspiring person - always engaged, caring, and full of energy. Her constant smile, supportive presence, and drive to lead and contribute to our (fundamentals) project left a lasting mark on all of us. It’s incredibly difficult to comprehend, especially having seen her just a few weeks ago in The Hague. Her voice, her smile, and her enthusiasm still feel so present. It was truly an honor to work alongside such a sunny and helpful colleague. We believe Sandra would want us to continue with the same spirit she brought to everything she did - committed, collaborative, and hopeful. We will carry her energy in our hearts and strive to continue the work she was so passionate about, honoring her in all that we do.

Although we haven't worked very closely, during the time I saw Sandra she has always been very sympathetic, positive and with good energy. That's a terrible loss and for sure she will be missed. My deepest condolences to her family and close related. Wishing that Sandra will also be remembered whenever we see the stars in the sky

As she would have said, “Sandra, eras una persona muy querida”. She always looked for the positive side of things, and the good in people. Sandra was the one with the eternal smile, always warm, always kind. No matter who you were, when you met her, or what you were going through, she always made everyone feel welcome and loved. You will be deeply missed. My thoughts are with her family and loved ones during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Sandra.

Sandra’s legacy is etched in the countless smiles she inspired, the lives she touched and the glowing warmth in our memories of her. I was lucky enough to meet her for the first time at our recent meeting in The Hague and she left such a positive impression: it was obvious how warm, kind and compassionate she was. My deepest condolences to Sandra’s family & loved ones, sending you strength during this dark time.
