Robert Leslie Maller

Robert was the beloved son of Elsie z’l and Jack z’l, beloved brother of Harvey z’l, and Mel. He will be dearly and deeply missed by his children, Joe (Michelle), Ben (Erin) and Michael (Andi). Beloved grandfather of Lila, Noemi and Patrick. Robert was a devoted husband to Barbara z’l, for 43 years. His extended Maller family and his friends will miss Robert. Robert attended UCLA. After graduating, he joined Pertec, one of the first companies making business computers. This was Robert’s field, and he thoroughly enjoyed the challenges and programming that went with it. He also developed and ran a very busy mailing service with Barbara. Stamp collecting was a passionate hobby as well as Ham Radio. Robert collected friends all over the world through this pastime. He also taught Ham Radio at Saddleback Community College. Robert was kind, considerate, a real mensch. He will be missed. May the beautiful memory of Yerachmiel ben Yaakov v’ Elka be for a blessing.
