I am still in shock with the news of Rebecca's passing. This must have been tough on her family and friends and the BirdLife family. Rebecca was special. We went through high and low moments together in my days at BirdLife International. She will be sorely missed, my family misses her. She was part of the beat in the pulse of BirdLife Africa Secretariat and Partnership. She was a rock, loved her family dearly and had very high hopes for her children. My thoughts are with her family and BirdLife in these challenging times. I pray God's comfort and abiding presence for all affected by Rebecca's passing.
